Story Begins...
Title: A Mysterious Encounter
あるひ、おんなのこはみちでさまよっていました。
Aru hi, onnanoko wa michi de samayotte imashita.
One day, a young girl was wandering on the road.
すると、みずうみのそばでちいさなぽけっとがありました。
Suruto, mizuumi no soba de chiisana poketto ga arimashita.
Then, near the lake, she found a small pocket.
おんなのこはぽけっとをあけてみると、なかにふしぎなものがありました。
Onnanoko wa poketto o aketemiru to, naka ni fushigi na mono ga arimashita.
The girl opened the pocket and found something mysterious inside.
それは、ちいさなまほうのほうせきでした。
Sore wa, chiisana mahō no hōseki deshita.
It was a small magic gem.
ほうせきをてにしたしゅんかん、おんなのこのまえにかわいいこいぬがあらわれました。
Hōseki o te ni shita shunkan, onnanoko no mae ni kawaii koinu ga arawaremashita.
The moment she held the gem, a cute puppy appeared in front of the girl.
おんなのこはおどろきましたが、こいぬはおをふってよろこびました。
Onnanoko wa odorokimashita ga, koinu wa o o futte yorokobimashita.
The girl was surprised, but the puppy wagged its tail happily.
おんなのこはこいぬをつれていえにかえりました。
Onnanoko wa koinu o tsurete ie ni kaerimashita.
The girl took the puppy home.
こいぬはおんなのこといっしょにあそび、まいにちいっしょにぼうけんしました。
Koinu wa onnanoko to issho ni asobi, mainichi issho ni bōken shimashita.
The puppy played with the girl and they went on adventures together every day.
ふたりはふしぎなせかいへたびだち、あたらしいともだちにであいました。
Futari wa fushigi na sekai e tabidachi, atarashii tomodachi ni deaimashita.
They embarked on a journey to a mysterious world and met new friends.
こいぬとおんなのこはいつもいっしょにわらい、なみだしました。
Koinu to onnanoko wa itsumo issho ni warai, namida shimashita.
The puppy and the girl always laughed and shed tears together.
やがて、おんなのこはこいぬにかんしゃのきもちをつたえました。
Yagate, onnanoko wa koinu ni kansha no kimochi o tsutaemashita.
Eventually, the girl expressed her gratitude to the puppy.
ふたりはずっとこころのなかでむすばれたとくべつなきずなをもちつづけました。
Futari wa zutto kokoro no naka de musubareta tokubetsu na kizuna o mochitsuzukemashita.
The two of them continued to hold a special bond that was tied in their hearts forever.
